At this time of year you visit friends and family for reunions, meals, snacks, drinks and you’re expected to bring flowers or chocolates. This can work in your favour, giving away some of those boxes of chocolates you’ve accumulated over Christmas, but it can get expensive!
A couple of years ago I made Easter biscuits which are very cheap to make and wrapped them for various friends and family members. One friend thought they looked professional! So I thought I’d try to recreate the this Christmas.
We’re seeing some friends and family this weekend so I’ve made some biscuits with cranberries and pistachios. They are yummy and I’ve wrapped them up so they look a little bit fancy. And it works out quite cheap – I’ve made four packs. The recipe is here: http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1759655/pistachio-and-cranberry-cookies
